# Keys & authentication

> How to send the key and manage keys.

Send the key with every request:

```

- Create keys in the [dashboard](https://ai.aimixmedia.site/cabinet/keys), up to 20 active. All keys share one balance.
- A key is shown once. Lost it? Create a new one.
- "Disable" is temporary (can be enabled again). "Delete" is permanent; spend history is kept.
- Never put the key in website or app code — call the API from your server.
